Howdy everyone! It has been far too long since I posted something. Life keeps throwing curve balls my way, and let's just say I'm not a very good catch! I am feeling desperate for some form of ''normalcy'' to our days. Hoping that the always-on-the-run-going-out-the-door thing of late is not a new ''normal"! You see, I have big ideas of what a successful day ''should'' look like: Bible reading and prayer, kids dressed and fed, laundry, dishes and cleaning done, meals cooked. Animals fed. Uncluttered house. Constructive play for the kids. But alas, it seems as if I were asking something impossible. Maybe I am. Sigh. There just is no rhythm to our days as of late. The result is cranky boys and cranky mama. I have't even decorated for Fall yet! It will be Christmas before I know it. I was going to decorate for Fall the week of Labor Day. HA! I feel like it's been a hamster-in-the-wheel kind of thing ever since Labor Day. I almost don't even dare to voice my plan for today. Shhh! Read quietly: to clean the downstairs, straighten up stuff in the barn, fold/put away laundry and decorate. And should a miracle occur and I make it that far, I want to make canned apple pie filling tonight after the kiddos are in bed. GASP! I know, what a rebel. So here is to being hopeful and optimistic (or just plain stupid, LOL) I hope your day goes well. And I'm hoping mine does too!
